Swim Art: Tohu-Bohu for Le Slip Francaise

I was happy to find this pattern because it features men. Women are the primary subject I encounter in the various swim related art, patterns, and illustrations I’ve come across and shared. I’ve been looking to feature more swim art that features men, or at least men and women, so that I’m sharing a more balanced perspective.

Tohu-Bohu Bureau, founded by Lucile Bonnaud and Lysandre Graebling, is a graphic and textile design office in France. They design patterns for fashion, furniture, packaging, and decorative collections. The work on their website shows a wide variety of work applied to all sort of products.

This pattern looks to have been designed for a collaboration with Le Slip Francaise, a French swimwear, underwear, and pajama company. Tohu-Bohu’s website shows a wide array of patterns, and they include a photo of this one on a pair of swim trunks. Love!
