Two Swims in Two Days

It has been a long time since I swam two days in a row, but this will be the new normal so I guess I’ll be getting used to it. My arms definitely felt sleepy, but I got into the rhythm quickly and had a great swim. The crew is small at these USC swims, at least so far, so I had my own lane again, just like last Friday.

This evening’s coach remembered me from last summer, when I swam at USC a few times when Culver was closed for maintenance. She coaches Tuesday and Thursday evening, so I’ll look forward to seeing her twice after a class I’m taking on Thursday night finishes up. This was a classic SCAQ workout with long sets; I think having this and the more varied one each week will be good.
