Sunrise Water

My new morning swim routine is awesome - once I get to the pool. Getting to the pool is proving to be a challenge, especially on Mondays. Wah wah! When I arrive and see the water, and all the activity going on, and all the people stretching and moving around, my motivation returns.

This morning I decided to swim without fins. Iā€™m barely making a 2:00 100 free in the long lane set-up; I was a 1:45 in short lane. It goes to show you how much you gain from the flip-turn and streamline.

  • 300 free warm-up

  • 6 x 50 kick, mix drill

  • 200 free

  • 2 rounds, 3 x 100 free, 200 free, 150 free

  • 100 free cool down
