Swim Art: “Jump” by Alessandro Gottardo

This illustration of a child just about to dive in makes me smile. If you look closely, the other two children are holding the edges of what could be a blanket. In any case, the water/blanket will catch the boy jumping on in. The artist, Alessandro Gottardo, has a prolific list of clients and a beautiful portfolio. Born in Pordenone, Italy (I’ve been there, and it is a charming place!) he is a graphic artist with works completed for The New York Times, Business Week, Coca Cola, and Ebony Magazine (another illustration of someone jumping into a pool).
