Swim Art: "How to Swim" from 1889

I’m fascinated by the various swim styles show in the poster! I found it on Pinterest and the notes that accompany it didn’t give me very many clues about where it comes from, or if it is from 1889. The style is old, thought, and the bathing suit is definitely not current, so at the very least, its from early 19-something.

I’m going to try out style #6 (breast/free?). Style #7 and #16 look more relaxing than active. I’m not sure I could do #12!
