Morning Shift

I started a new job at the beginning of November and my schedule shifted from 8-5 to 9-ish-6. This meant I could no longer go to the 6pm SCAQ workout at USC, so I decided to shift to the 6:30am SCAQ workout at the Culver Plunge.

So far, the change is working out quite nicely. The morning workout is long lane, the water temp is much cooler than the USC dive pool, and no creepy men to contend with! Waking at up 5:50 am wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. Some mornings I’m awake by 5:30, but some I do have to battle a general sense of laziness; but I haven’t missed a workout yet.
