Cooler Water, Finally

I jumped in the pool and was so happy to feel cooler water than last week. Hip hip, hooray. Our workout ended up being quite a long slog, so the cool water helped me along. I also ended up being the only swimmer in the lane - had the whole length to myself!

Because of that I was able to practice alternate side breathing the entire time. I didn’t have to worry about gulping in someone’s wake as they swam past me. I’m getting better at the technique and it’s not as scary to turn my head to a new side. I might have to schedule an ocean swim soon!
