Must. Get. Shaded. Goggles.

My second Saturday morning swim at the brand new City of El Segundo Wiseburn Unified School District Aquatics Center (CoESWUSDAC…it’s a mouthful of a name AND acronym!) was fantastic. Clear blue skies, a perfectly cool pool, and an hour of good hard swimming started my weekend out on a great note. I desperately need shaded goggles, though; the two pairs I currently have don’t stick to my face, so I had to swim with my clear goggles. I spent several laps with my eyes barely open. It was so bright out!

The workout was great, my lane mates were synced up, and Coach Clay was on a roll. This may have been the largest turn-out for a SCAQ workout I’ve ever seen. I think the 10:00 am weekend swims at CoESWUSDAC are a hit!
