Swim Art: Giovana Medeiro's "Quarte Leve"

Unlike last week’s swim post, the only thing under the water in this art is lovely floaty sea plants. And unlike the poor scared kiddo, this lady is serene and confident.

Created by Giovana Medeiro, a Lisbon based freelance illustrator, her work is:

“…inspired by nature, the feminine, kids, fantastical stories and the day-to-day life. Working with flat shapes, bold colours and heavily painterly textures, her illustrations have been applied to a series of different mediums such as books, advertising, magazines, textiles, games, greeting cards.”
